The objective of our intervention is to develop and demonstrate advanced visualization and interaction components in patterns of life to support the operators during the conduct of tasks related to threat anticipation and threat evaluation in the context of continental defence. To do so, a literature review was done to adequately identify and enhance visualization of patterns of life, including situation characteristics and context surrounding those patterns. The resultant design will help operators adequately distinguish patterns of life to identify and anticipate threats.
