In the automotive parts industry, part compatibility is a key sales issue. Thus, there must be a maintenance of information on existing vehicles in order to properly identify compatible parts. Thibert had already implemented a software that allowed for the management of vehicles, but it had some shortcomings for a more efficient market development. Thus, we participated in the migration of this software to TWAP (see project 51) in order to have an easily accessible software and to modify its operation to rely on several data sources (AAIA, TireGuide, Drive Right, Weather tech, etc.) and thus facilitate the identification of compatible parts and to decrease the effort of data maintenance.
