Taking charge after the initial design approval, necessitated by the main designer’s maternity leave, my focus was on overseeing development, conducting user tests, and making crucial design decisions for optimization, interface coherence, and quality assurance.

Thales initiated a comprehensive market investigation, exploring the implications of Single Pilot Operations (SPO) and hybrid airplanes on aviation route planning. The primary focus was to evaluate the viability of introducing the Smart Route Planner—a groundbreaking flight planning idea/prototype—to the market. The investigation extended to determining the strategic approach for its introduction: standalone, integration with an existing Flight Planning System (FPS), or through acquisition and adaptation of an FPS.

Revenu Québec faced a pivotal moment in its design journey, seeking a transformation toward a contemporary, functional, and accessible design system aligned with the WCAG 2.1 AA criteria. The challenge included bridging the gap between the existing outdated design system, KX, and the in-progress ISA system. My role was to collaborate with accessibility specialists, developers, and UX designers across different teams, aiming to establish design and usage standards, while fostering a user-centric evolution in the organization’s UX practices.
